Derek receiving his rank advancement. Not too much longer before we need to decide on doing his Eagle project. He loves kisses from his mom. As you can see... No kisses from dad! Or are the dancing?

Halloween

We love halloween. Every year we add props to our collection, whether they be home made or not.

We turned one of our larger coffins in to a bookcase (but not for books). We added blacklights and shelves. We also tried adding live props, but he just didn't want to stay put.

We have recently had a little "haunt" visiting us. It turns our radio on at 2 AM and is not pleased with what's on and decides to change the radio stations. We named it Emerson, after the radio.

School

School has started again...finally. I love the uniforms. My kids are so smart. Can I say again? I love their uniforms. They are a very busy group kids. They have already gone to a blacklight dance. Mikal is Vice-President of the 7th grade and she is also on the volleyball team. Derek is taking French 2 and in ballroom. Shae is taking art...I love her art. Maybe I can get her to post some.

This is Grandpa. He sure is cute. We said our "good-bye's" to him today. Also today, Uncle Kevin decided to go meet Grandpa. I guess when you are ready, you're ready. How lucky they are. I will miss you both. All my love.

My husband sure is good-looking. He manages to get to carry the casket...frequently. (Although it has nothing to do with his looks.) He's Grandpa's favorite "nephew" but Grandma knows better.

This post is just for Amy, it's not likely you'll get another one, but I'll try to a least do something on here more than once a year. PS i'm really going to miss you when you leave.
